

Microsoft is releasing a new Office Insider Preview Build for
Windows users with significant improvements. The latest Office
Insider build is available with version 1804. The latest
build comes with improvements for Excel, Outlook and Project
along with including new features which are expected to be
rolled out after successful testing.
First and foremost Excel is expected to be getting Insights
which will help users to analyse data. You will need to
click a cell in the data range and select the Insights
button in the ribbon which will then give you graphs and charts
to have a more detailed insight into the data.
PowerPoint is also expected to get several improvements with
the insider team adding support for pen with the app now
letting users to convert notes and drawing into readable text.
Microsoft Outlook is another app which is getting new features
and improvements with three new features, the first one letting
users to configure reminders which pop up over windows.
The second improvement is the option to automatically mark
deleted items as read. To enable this you would need to go to
File>Options>Mail>Mark messages as read when deleted.
This has been the most awaited feature by the Office Insiders
and Microsoft is finally bringing it to the Office 365
subscribers in preview version currently.
The third feature Outlook gets is the ability to read your
emails. This functionality needs to be enabled manually by
going to File>Options>Ease of Access>Show Read Aloud.
Microsoft Project is also getting new features with the Office
team introducing task board filtering. The new features are
currently available for Office 365 subscribers who have
enrolled as Insiders.
The Redmond Giant is expected to roll the new features to all
Office 365 subscribers after successful testing in the coming
