Today’s the day that Apple introduces new iPhones, but that’s not the only new hardware that Apple has up its sleeve.
Apple today introduced the 7th Generation iPad, the newest version of its entry-level tablet. This iPad has a 10.2-inch Retina display, up from the 9.7-inch screen on the 6th Gen iPad. Support for the Smart Connector and Smart Keyboard are included, too, as is Apple Pencil support.
Another major upgrade to the 7th Gen iPad is its processor. Included is an Apple A10 Fusion processor, which Apple says is up to twice as fast as the chip in the 6th Gen iPad.
Other notable features of this new iPad include 8MP rear and FaceTime HD front cameras, a Touch ID fingerprint reader, and up to 10 hours of battery life.
The 7th Gen iPad is priced at $329 and it’s available to order starting today. It’ll ship on September 30.
