A beautiful, doll-like Monstrum created by a leading craftsman. She has the supernatural ability to see “invisible” objects that humans are unable to.
Her birthplace is a complete mystery. She is the most mysterious among the Monstrum in Baldeux, and moves around in battle with unique movements seemingly impossible for a human to achieve.
For some reason, she wants to get in touch with the adventurer Adol…
A Monstrum who specializes in pure “power,” and wields a large war hammer that she swings with vigor in battle.
Unlike the criminals White Cat and Hawk, she follows the law and has good sense, acting as a mediator whenever there is a fight among Monstrum.
There are rumors that she has relatives living in the Prison City, but the truth is uncertain.
A Monstrum named “Renegade” due to his strange, worn-out vestments. Due to his strong pessimism and few opportunities to appear in public, only a few people have actually managed to actually see him.
It seems that he has some sort of information about the Gllia region and Prison City…
■ Supernatural Actions
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox uses a unique action system that allows Monstrum to utilize their supernatural powers.
These powers can be activated anywhere, including in the city, on the field, and in dungeons, and are useful not only in battle, but also in dungeon puzzles and city exploration. As you gain the cooperation of the Monstrum that appear in Baldeux, The Prison City, the variety of supernatural powers available to you will increase.
The Third Eye
An ability that temporarily makes visible objects and phenomenon that cannot be seen by the human eye. In addition to being effective in battles against invisible enemies, it can be used in various other ways on the exploration side of things, such as to see through walls to discover hidden paths and treasures.
An ability that can destroy strong walls of rock with a powerful blow full of spirit. It can be used to destroy simple walls made of stacked stones, cracked walls of rock, and the like to create new routes. In battle, it can also break through the sturdy guards of some enemies.
An ability that hides the Monstrum’s body in the ground like a shadow and allows them to move in the ground.
For pathways where the ceiling is low and it is difficult to pass through, it is possible to break through by using this ability. Also, since enemies will not notice you while hidden, this ability can be used to sneak up behind them, or to pass by and avoid battles against stronger enemies.
