Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Android 10 update finally starts rolling out

Xiaomi announced the Mi A2 Lite under the Android One program back in July 2018. The smartphone was launched running Android 8.1 (Oreo), and the company updated it to Android 9.0 (Pie) in November 2018. The company has already rolled out Android 10 to Mi A3 and Mi A2 India and now it has started rolling out Android 10 update to Mi A2 Lite users, the company recently released Android 10 based Kernel Sources for Mi A2 Lite.

As per posts on Mi Community, Xiaomi has started rolling out Android 10 update to Mi A2 Lite users. The update comes with version 11.0.2.0.QDLMIXM, and has February Android security patch.  Android 10 brings a number of additional privacy and security features for users, as well as Dark Theme, Smart Reply, Focus mode, dedicated ‘Privacy section’, and lots more.

Xiaomi says it’s a partial rollout so it might take some time to reach everyone, you can download the recovery ROM here and flash it manually on your device if you don’t have the update yet, but we won’t advise our users to do so since Xiaomi has disabled downgrading to Android 9.0 from Android 10 on Android One series devices.
