It’s Patch Tuesday and Microsoft is also pushing out new
cumulative updates with security fixes to Windows 10 Mobile
handsets. Today’s update is rolling out to Windows Phone
handsets such as Lumia 950, Lumia 650 and HP Elite x3 with
fixes and improvements.
Windows 10 Mobile Build 15254.556 is rolling out to devices
with Fall Creators Update. As per the changelog, the update
appears to include security improvements for Microsoft Edge,
Windows apps, Windows graphics, and Windows kernel.
You can download and install this cumulative updates on devices
like HP Elite x3, Lumia 950s, Lumia 650, Lumia 550,
Wileyfox Pro and Alcatel IDOL 4S.
There’s another cumulative update for older Windows Phone. If
you are using a device with Windows 10 Mobile Creators Update,
you will receive Build 15063.1689 and it includes similar bug

Microsoft is all set to
end support for Windows 10 Mobile later this year. The
company isn’t going to release any new feature but it’ll still
deliver the security updates until December 2019. After
December 2019, Microsoft can leave its mobile platform behind
once and for all.
Microsoft recommends users to move to an Android or iOS device
when Windows 10 Mobile is discontinued, emphasizing that
all of its apps are available on these platforms too.
