Microsoft Edge is updated with some improvements, the company
in the changelog says that an issue that was causing the
browser to stop working has been finally fixed. Furthermore, a
bug that prevents Windows Hello from generating good
keys when it detects weak cryptographic keys has been
fixed.
Microsoft is finally addressing an issue related to smart cards
where the user had to wait for at least 30 seconds if the user
enters an incorrect PIN or biometric input. With the latest
update, Microsoft is basically removing the 30-second delay
lock. The company has also addressed an issue in the key
component of Windows 10. Microsoft discovered and fixed a bug
where the right-click context menu for encrypting and
decrypting files using Windows Explorer was missing.
The update also brings reliability improvements
for Internet Explorer and fixes potential bugs in web
browser control. Last but not the least, Microsoft is
fixing an issue with BitLocker where the encryption
suspends unexpectedly during device unenrollment. Most of
the other changes included in this cumulative update are aimed
at enterprises.
Microsoft is not aware of any known issues in the latest
version of Windows 10 Creators Update and we have not come
across any reports claiming failed installations. It remains to
be seen whether or not everything goes smoothly for Windows 10
users given that the cumulative updates are troublesome on some
computers.
