realme launched the realme XT smartphone running ColorOS 6.0 realme edition on top of Android 9.0 (Pie) back in September, the smartphone recently received Android 10 based realme UI 1.0 update with a bunch of new features such as dual earphone connection, animated wallpapers, customizable icon shape, new charging animation, realme Share (cross-brand file-sharing technology) and more.
The company claims that realme UI is crafted to provide a near-stock Android experience but in case you wish to enjoy a clean stock Android like experience on your realme XT, there is good news for you as realme XT (RMX1921) finally gets official Havoc-OS (Android 10 based) support.
For those unaware, Havoc-OS is amongst popular AOSP based custom ROM that aims towards providing a clean stock Android experience with nifty features and customizations. To flash a custom ROM, users need to unlock the bootloader of their devices and flash a custom recovery, refer to this post for detailed bootloader unlocking procedure but make sure to take a backup of your data before proceeding.
TWRP recovery for realme XT can be downloaded from the link given below, flashing a custom ROM does not affect the warranty of realme devices as communicated by the company in various community posts.
