Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the POCO F1 smartphone in India back in August 2018 running MIUI 9.6 Global Stable on top of Android 8.1 (Oreo). Later in December 2018, the company rolled out Android 9.0 (Pie) based MIUI 10 update for the smartphone. Earlier this month, Xiaomi announced a list of smartphones eligible for Android Q update, POCOPHONE Global Head, Alvin has already confirmed Android Q update for the smartphone.

Now, a recruitment thread has been posted on Mi Community as the company is looking for ROM testers for Android Q based Global Stable ROM, the company recently shared its plan to suspend MIUI Global Beta update for all the smartphones from 1st July. Apart from POCO F1 Android Q testers, Xiaomi is also looking for Android 9.0 (Pie) MIUI Global Stable ROM testers for Mi 6, Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A.
Though the recruitment is open to all users, active members on Mi Community have an advantage over others, so if you have an active profile on Mi Community you should apply for it. Users are also supposed to install an instant messenger QQ to discuss bugs with other testers and team. Deadline for applying for the above-mentioned devices is 7th July, and users will be notified by 10th July regarding their selection.
