Pixel 4 XL shown off in high-quality hands-on videos

The trickle of Pixel 4 leaks that we’d seen in recent months has now become a steady stream, and today we’re getting our best look yet at Google’s upcoming flagship.

A lengthy hands-on video that shows off the Pixel 4 XL has made its way online today. The video comes AnhEm TV and is in Vietnamese, but it shows off lots of hardware and software features that you can understand even if you don’t speak the language. As we’ve seen before, this Pixel 4 XL has a dual rear camera setup, no notch, and because this is the white version, there’s an orange power button on the side.

On the software side, the phone is running Android 10 with its new gestures, including activating the Google Assistant with a swipe in from one of the lower corners of the screen. The Settings app confirms that the Pixel 4 will have a 90Hz refresh rate, with a Smooth Display setting that “dynamically adjusts the refresh rate between 60 and 90Hz”. We can also see Screen Attention and Ambient EQ features, the latter of which “dynamically adjusts the display based on surrounding light levels.”

The Pixel 4 XL in the video is also shown running the CPU-Z app, which lists the phone as having a Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB of RAM, and a 6.23-inch 3040×1440 display.

Meanwhile a separate hands-on video shows the Pixel  4 XL in three colors: white, black, and the rumored orange “Coral” hue. This one is from Rabbit TV and is in Thai, and while it doesn’t show much of the Pixel 4 XL’s software, it does give us a long, good look at the three colors next to each other.
