Microsoft today released Windows 10 preview build 17728 to
the Insiders in the Fast Ring and it comes with
highly-anticipated
Your Phone app. The Your Phone app was announced earlier
this year and it brings your Android phone and Windows 10 PC a
bit closer.

With Windows 10 Redstone 5, Microsoft is bringing the
first set of features to Your Phone. The feature is now
available for Windows Insiders and it works with an Android
device only, at least for now. Microsoft says that you can snap
a pic on your Android phone and see it on your PC via Your
Phone app.

“You can finally stop emailing yourself photos. With Your Phone
app, your Android’s most recent photos sync to your PC
automatically,” Microsoft’s Dona Sarkar writes in a blog post.

It is worth noting that you must download a Microsoft app on
your Android phone to sync photos with your Windows 10. At the
moment, Android 7.0 and above are compatible with Your Phone
app.

“For iPhone users, Your Phone app helps you to link your phone
to your PC. Surf the web on your phone, then send the webpage
instantly to your computer to pick up where you left off to
continue what you’re doing–read, watch, or browse with all the
benefits of a bigger screen. With a linked phone, continuing on
your PC is one share away,” the company explains.
