Kandagawa Jet Girls

Marvelous, in collaboration with Kadokawa and Egg Firm, have announced Kandagawa Jet Girls, a new title produced by Kenichiro Takaki. The game is “a new passion filled new form of entertainment with a little bit of sexiness, starring girls who devoted their youth to jet races.”

The first part of the live stream, which runs from 20:00 to 21:30 JST, will feature Takaki and two of the voice actors from the game, who will reveal the animated trailer, key visual, staff, cast, and game-related information. After that, the game’s official website will open.

Update 11:45 p.m.: In a March interview with Famitsu, Takaki shared artwork of a new project with Marvelous, which features character designs by Hanaharu Naruko. The artwork features a girl on a jet-looking vehicle on what appears to be a race course. Cutt-offs of the word “Kandagawa” can be seen in two parts of the image.

Takaki told Famitsu that while the game will feature beautiful girls, there will not be any clothes removal elements like the Senran Kagura series that he is also known for. As of the interview, the game was in development for about a year and a half. In addition to a game, there will also be an anime directed by Hiraku Kaneko.

Additionally, there was a job listing in 2018 for course map modelling on a PlayStation 4 “water race shooting game.” There was also a separate job listing for “modeling of beautiful anime girl characters in a PlayStation 4 console game that adds shooting elements to racing.” These job listings were posted by a studio said to be about a one-minute walk from Keiou Line Sasazuka Station in Tokyo, meaning there is a high possibility that Shade is the developer.

Thanks, @Renka_schedule.
