LG and OnePlus have already committed to unveiling new flagship smartphones in May, and now a third manufacturer says that it’s got a new device coming this month.
HTC says that it’s got a new phone to announce on May 23rd. “Coming Soon. A phone that is more than the sum of its specs,” the company said on Twitter.
We’ll have to wait until May 23rd to find out exactly what HTC has planned, but it’s likely that this will be the reveal of the HTC U12+. The new flagship has been the subject of rumors and leaks lately, and this announcement comes almost exactly one year after the debut of the HTC U11.
Rumors have suggested that the HTC U12+ will include a 6-inch WQHD+ display, Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB of RAM, and a 3420mAh battery. Also rumored to be included are four cameras: two 8MP cameras on the front, one 16MP and one 12MP camera around back.
