It seems as though game developers (and gamers) simply can’t get enough of the “Greatest Generation”; the brave soldiers that fought during World War II. The official Twitter account for the Battlefield franchise posted a new teaser trailer for Battlefield V which all but confirms that the game will be set during WWII, which meshes with rumors that we’ve previously heard about the game.
Although the brief teaser, which shows the Xbox One/Xbox One X version of the game is less than 20 seconds long, you can clearly see German Iron Cross and the British Union Jack at the top of the HUD. This change in eras means that we’ll be seeing a significant upgrade in machinery and firepower that came into existence in the two decades that separated the two world wars.
Shhh… not long now.

Unfortunately, there isn’t much more to glean from this teaser, which means that we’ll still have to wait until May 23rd when DICE and Electronic Arts reveal all of the enticing details surrounding the highly anticipated game.
Battlefield V will launch for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 in October.
Fans of first-person shooter genre won’t just have Battlefield V to look forward to this fall; Activision will be launching Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on October 12th. If you prefer the third-person perspective, Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released later in the month on October 26th. Needless to say, the month of October will be a stellar one for PC and console gamers alike.
