Corsair today has announced that it is launching the first in a new lineup of pre-built gaming PCs that fall under the Vengeance brand name. Corsair is providing nearly everything that you need with regards to the system with the exception of a monitor when you purchase the new Vengeance 5180.
The Vengeance 5180 is powered by an 8th generation Intel Core i7-8700 processor, which is a hexa-core SKU with boost speeds of up to 4.6GHz. The processor is affixed to an unspecified motherboard with an Intel B360 chipset and is capped off with a Corsair Hydro Series H100i Pro all-in-one liquid cooler. 16GB of DRAM is included; in this case, there are two 8GB modules of Corsair’s own Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4-2666 memory.
When it comes to graphics, Corsair has chosen NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 2080, which is the mid-tier offering in NVIDIA’s current RTX family (below the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and above the GeForce RTX 2070). Corsair is hoping that you overclock both the CPU and the GPU to your heart’s content with its provided software utilities.
On the storage front, you’ll find Corsair’s 480GB Force MP300 M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD along with a more capacious 2TB 7200RPM 3.5-inch HDD. Other odds and ends include a Corsair CX750 power supply, Corsair K55 RGB keyboard, and Corsair Harpoon RGB mouse. Other Corsair-branded goodies include two 120mm LL120 RGB fans and two 140mm LL140 RGB fans as well as an RGB Lighting Strip and a Crystal 280X RGB chassis.
Corsair is selling the Vengeance 5180 for $2,399 and it comes backed with a two-year warranty.
