AT&T customers now have another way to pay for their monthly bill.
AT&T will now accept online bill payments using BitPay, allowing customers to pay for their bills using cryptocurrency. If you’d like to pay for your monthly AT&T bill using cryptocurrency, just select BitPay as your payment option when you log in to your account online or in the myAT&T app.
Having more ways to pay for your bill is a good thing, and so it’s great to see AT&T expanding its bill payment options to include cryptocurrency. AT&T touts that it’s the first major U.S. carrier to accept cryptocurrency for bill payments, so maybe now that it’s launched, other carriers will follow.
