Amazon and Comcast are teaming up to bring the tech giant’s video streaming service into the Xfinity cable universe.

Amazon Prime Video will launch on the Comcast Xfinity X1 boxes over the next week as an app, similar to how it appears on other devices such as Roku and Apple TV. The addition of Amazon Prime Video makes it possible for Comcast customers to watch original shows like “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” as well as live events like “Thursday Night Football,” without having to hop over to another device.

Comcast and other traditional cable providers are losing subscribers, and they are partnering with companies that might otherwise be their competitors to offer as many services as possible to keep users on board, and this deal with Amazon is the latest example. In 2016, Netflix debuted on the X1 platform, and other popular streaming apps like YouTube are also available on Comcast.

Accessing Prime Video on X1 does require a Prime subscription. The streaming service is available as part of Amazon Prime, which costs $119 for the year or $12.99 per month. Amazon also offers a standalone subscription to Prime Video for $8.99 per month.
