Amazon today expanded its new 10 percent discounts on sale items and other special deals for Prime members at Whole Foods to 12 additional states and all Whole Foods 365 stores. The company first announced the deal earlier this month at stores in Florida. It’s Amazon’s latest integration with Whole Foods, which it acquired for $13.7 billion last year.
Discounts for Prime members will work through the Whole Foods Market app. Amazon says Prime members will sign into the app using their Amazon accounts, and then scan the “Prime Code” inside the app when they check out at Whole Foods. Items eligible for additional Prime member discounts will be designated by special signs in Whole Foods stores. Customers can also get the savings via grocery delivery, which is free for Prime members for orders over $35.
The new discounts are available at Whole Foods stores in Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Kansas City, Missouri, Louisiana, New Mexico, northern Nevada, northern California, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah.
