All Nippon Airways launches ‘Game Chronicle’ Japanese game culture history website

All Nippon Airways has launched “Game Chronicle,” a website and browser game combination part of its “Is Japan Cool?” cultural promotion initiative.

Game Chronicle covers 100 topics across the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s of Japanese video games, including hardware and software evolution, arcade games, e-sports, and Japan’s traditional games. It also features a special collection of events and anecdotes, as well as interview videos with 11 Japanese games industry experts.

By playing the game on the website, you can unlock information about the popular topics of each era, which can then be accessed at any time in the game menu.
